That's my plant — build care plan

How it works

Three steps from photo to plan

No botany degree required — the app walks you through everything.

  1. Photograph your plant

Take up to three photos — the whole plant, a leaf up close, anything distinctive. More angles help the AI see more.

  2. Review AI candidates

Gemini proposes ranked candidates with confidence scores. Compare them side by side — nothing is decided until you say so.

  3. Confirm & get your plan

Confirm the match, answer four quick questions about your space, and receive a 30-day care plan built from check-first tasks.

“Check the plant, then act.”

Plant Mania never hands you a blind watering timetable. Every task begins with a check — feel the topsoil, read the leaves — so you act on what your plant actually needs, not on what a calendar says.

Features

Everything a plant parent needs

From the first photo to a thriving windowsill.

  • Gemini-powered recognition

Identify from up to three photos at once. Ranked candidates with confidence scores keep you in control of the final call.

  • Personalized 30-day plans

A four-step questionnaire about light, pot, soil and routine shapes a care plan that fits your home — not a generic template.

  • Weekly health checks

Short guided check-ins catch drooping, yellowing or pests early, and your plan adapts as your plant changes.

  • Pet-aware plans

Tell the plan that pets can reach your plant and it adds a step to place it out of reach and to check the species' safety with a reliable source.

  • Sync across iPhone and iPad

Sign in and your plants and care plans follow you between your iPhone and iPad.

  • Guest mode

Try the full flow without creating an account. When you sign up, everything you did as a guest comes with you.

FAQ

Questions, answered

How accurate is the identification?

Very good — but not infallible, and AI can make mistakes. That's why Plant Mania always shows ranked candidates with confidence scores and asks you to confirm before anything is saved. You make the final call.

What happens to my photos?

Photos are sent to Google Vertex AI (Gemini) only to identify your plant. The original photo is not kept on our servers; a small thumbnail is saved with your plant so you can recognise it in your list, and it is deleted with your data. Photos are never used for advertising or to train AI models.

Do I need an account to try it?

No. Guest mode lets you use the full flow without signing up. If you create an account later, your guest plants and care plans carry over automatically.

Can I cancel Premium anytime?

Yes. Subscriptions are managed in your App Store subscription settings, and you can cancel at any time. You keep Premium until the end of the paid period.

Why isn't there a fixed watering schedule?

Because every room is different — light, pots, seasons, habits. A calendar can't feel your soil, so every task starts with a quick check and tells you exactly what to do based on what you find.
